How do I "eject" a USB stick correctly?

I just purchased this Plugin for Tc but cannot work out how to "eject" a USB stick correctly?

There is no explicit "Eject" funtionality implemented.
All write-accesses occur uncashed, so if you wait a second after the write operation is finished you can detach the stick without danger.

Now there is an Eject button on the settings page. If you press the back button from TC or start the "USB-Stick Plugin" app there is an "Eject" button top right.

Does that still apply? Don't see a eject button on my Nexus 7 (TC 2.04, USB Stick Plugin 1.3.18 free)

You are right, the information is outdated.
Now there is an "Eject" button on the "Settings" page.
To get to the "Settings" page you can start the USB-Stick Plugin as an App or you can press the "Back" key until you leave Total Commander and get to the "Settings" page.
