Using 2 USB memory stick?

Postby sleep_pilot » Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:58 pm

Is it possible to use this with 2 USB memory stick? More specifically, I am try to copy files from USB stick A to USB stick B. I connect the USB 2 GO cable to a POWERed USB hub. I have previously tried (and successfully) use a USB keyboard + USB mouse + a USB stick at the same time. So I know the USB hub is working.

Thanks.

Hello sleep_pilot,

yes it is possible to attach multiple USB memory sticks at the same time.
You can copy from one memory stick to another. Also if a device has multiple partitions all readable partitions are visible.

sleep_pilot: Is your hub 3.0 or 2.0?

Would a USB hub powered via 12V cigarette lighter/ USB cable (into a lighter adapter; .5/1.0/2.1 amp/more?) also work?

?Amazon warns that wireless 2.0 keyboards [ie. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DKZTMG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 can malfunction when run from 3.0 hubs (something about the frequency being transmitted...)? Explain?

With a powered hub, would USB-powered portable hard drives (ie.: SSD!) work too? What maximum size would Total Commander support (max GB/TB?)

Thanks!
